What if my payment is declined?

Follow these troubleshooting tips if your payment was declined

Payment can be declined for several reasons, such as: 

  • Incorrect Payment Information: The card or account information may be entered incorrectly, or the payment method may be expired.
  • Insufficient Funds: The account may not have enough funds to cover the payment. 
  • Spending Limit: The transaction amount may exceed the spending limit on your card or account.
  • Bank Issue: Your bank may have flagged it as an unusual transaction and blocked the payment from being processed.

Troubleshooting Payment Declines

If your payment is declined, please complete the following troubleshooting steps on a laptop or computer before attempting another payment

  • Confirm your card or account information is entered correctly
  • Make sure you have enough funds in your account to cover the amount due
  • Make sure your payment method is not expired
  • Contact your financial institution for additional details
