Understanding Default Protection

Understanding your reimbursement options if a OneApp resident defaults

Our coverage helps protect your property from financial loss, if the worst happens, and a OneApp resident defaults on their lease.

🏆 Pro Tip: All the important info is in our Default Guide – add it to your Learning Management System (LMS) for quick access anytime.

For eligible defaults, we can be reimburse you up to 3x the base rent to offset:

  • Property damages and costs to repair the unit.
  • Lost Rent due through the end of the lease term or until the first day of the new lease (if the property is re-rented).
  • Legal Fees associated with an eviction.

⚠️ Please Note: Normal wear-and-tear or turn of a unit, concessions, and standard resident fees cannot be reimbursed.
